Five American women served in Vietnam. Their experiences were real, specific, and largely absent from the historical record. This production was built from their own words: oral histories shaped into theatrical form without flattening what made each woman distinct. Five blocks transform to over 20 different sets - bunkers, hotels, airplanes, hills and more. Sound scape made by the actors, for the environmental sounds and cadences created by the actors, with only speeches and newsreels coming from outside the stage. This kept the stories and the women in the forefront but the horrors of the outside world circulating around them.

The stage production has traveled from Off-Broadway to the Edinburgh Fringe to Italy and Australia. The radio adaptation, broadcast on NPR, received a Gracie Award from the Alliance for Women in Media in 2025.
